Moondrop and Sundew

Day 1: You're just an average photographer in an average town trying to get some good photos for your blog. Surely that mysterious mountain that's supposedly cursed that everyone keeps talking about will be the perfect place to get some pictures! You're pretty smart, you won't fall for any of the horror movie cliches. You'll be fine.
Well, until you're not.
But luckily for you, a kind stranger on the mountain is more than willing to help! How wonderful!
Although the more you hang around him, the more of a bad feeling you get in your chest. As though he was familiar, and not in the good way.
Day 2: Your new companion is much more kind than the stories you were told let on. With his delicious food and shy exterior, you truly think you could become good friends. He even helped you get home! And dangerous monsters don't do that.
But unfortunately, it seems he isn't the only one who has gotten attached to you, as a golden light seems interested in you as well.
However, are you positive it's you he's interested in?
Day 3: The time has come. Now you must decide who you love, the moon or the sun. Decide before they decide for you.

I do have a some questions:
Have you thought about adding the player possibly choosing to be a Yandere as well? Maybe an option for the player to be a celestial too? Where the player can choose to hide they're a celestial or not?

I remember playing the demo for this back in June, and I absolutely LOVED it. Let me just say, I LOVE IT EVEN MORE NOW!! By far, this is definitely one of the best visual novels I’ve ever played. Both routes caught me off guard, especially with Ravi and Orion going wild at the end. Overall, this game will always have a special place in my heart. <33
I just finnished both the moondrop endings and I have more than a few positive things to say
first of all, how in the absolute FUCK did you make such a masterpiece in such a short time span?
second, THE DESIGNS?????? Im usually super pissy when someone changes character designes but the once that are now in the game are simply magnificent, dont even get me started on the visuals themselfs
third, i litterally COULD NOT stop playing until I AT LEAST finished the moondrop endings - which might be kinda bad since its 1 am and I have school tommorow lol
fourth and last since I have to get to bed SOMEWHAT early, what in the bloody frick do you mean there might be more in the future????? THERE IS ALREDY LIKE HOURS OF GAMING JUST FOR THE MOONDROP ENDINGS. Are you a god????? HOW. thats litteraly the only question i can ask if I dont want to explode

This game, in short, is absolute peak. Words cannot describe the absolute chokehold it has on me right now. I've played it multiple times and it still entertains me because I, unfortunately, am completely obsessed with it. The story line AND the characters are amazing, and even though the Sundew route wasn't perfect, I honestly consider it my favorite between the two (even though I like both). Keep up the amazing work !!!!

I'm here to share my experience with this beautiful game. I've played every version of this game and have enjoyed each one. From the way the universe is created to the drawings of each character, whose design has changed with each update. I won't deny that I was enchanted the first time I saw Orion, and since then, I've been on the lookout for updates or information about the game.
I was very excited when I saw the full Moondrop route. I played all the endings, enjoying the different options available. When I finished, I realized something: at first, I only came to the game to enjoy a romance, but this one offered more than that. It told who MC really is, how everything around them is like, and, above all, Orion's story, conveying what he's been through and what he wants. Maybe the romance I desired didn't come true the way I wanted, but I was very satisfied with the entire story I was able to have.
At first, I was so satisfied with the Moondrop route that it didn't even cross my mind to try the Sundew route. When I saw the post about the release of Sundew's route and that the creator wasn't satisfied with the work and preferred to people not to play it, it changed my mind. I started playing it as soon as I could and see what it was like. It's true that it's not on par with Moondrop's route, but in my opinion, it was very interesting. It wasn't what I expected at all, seeing the dynamic with Ravi and his superiors, and I was actually quite surprised. Details like that made me enjoy it and, more than anything, helped me better understand Ravi's character and the role he plays. It also had its appeal when playing this route, so in my opinion, it was a good piece of work, despite the fact that it wasn't something the creator was happy about.
As I said before, for me, this game isn't something I'm looking for in search of romance, but rather to enjoy the world the creator has created. Seeing how everything unfolds and also seeing our MC face situations in their life that affect them personality.
In my opinion, Moondrop and Sundew was a beautiful game that tells a unique and entertaining story, allowing you to get closer to two characters and learn more about who they are. Not to mention the great storytelling and art it offers.

The title of this devlog post is not a joke in any way. I am 100% serious. Do not play the Sundew route. You shouldn't play it unless you want to get material to make a fanfiction that's ten times better the Sundew route.
Let me explain. I've stated on my social media as well as my patreon that not only am I extremely burnt out from this project, but I lost interest in it months ago. I genuinely don't think I'm built to handle long term projects that span this much time. It's going to become very obvious that the Sundew route is just not up to par with the Moondrop route in any way, and that's because I was doing the absolute bare minimum for it to be called a game. I genuinely don't know what to say other than I'm sorry and I wish I couldn't have disappointed you guys.
I know it hasn't even been a week since I updated the game, and some of you might think that's why it's so bad. But let me be honest, it was always going to be like this. I knew that if I held this off for any longer than I could have, I'd never get back to it for months on end and then rush out a crappy ending anyway.
And I couldn't just not update the game. I've seen so many people be sad over the lack of updates on VNs they like, I didn't want to do that because your support means so much to me. I wanted to give you guys SOMETHING, ANYTHING, to work with, so you guys can reimagine a story that's a lot better than I could come up with.
I'm sorry to say but this is a classic case of my hubris catching up with me to bite me in the ass. I thought I could make a visual novel and have it be good. But I couldn't, and it's not. Honestly, guys, I'm sorry for disappointing you. You all deserve a lot better.
Ori final ending hurt my heart so bad from seeing ori betrayed our trust just to get revenge for his people and y/n.I thought we will have kissing ori in final ending.
FINALLY got time to play this and ekkkk I had so much fun!! If I’m fully honest I found the part where now instead of trying to get their attention we just try and escape because I would 110% do the same lmao I really enjoyed the game (even if I was ready to sob after realizing I can’t kiss the sun boy yet sigh/it’s okay I had fun with ori anyways) talking about ori GODDAMN WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH HIM IN THE END thankfully my precious Ravi won’t be as crazy as him in future!!….
hopefullyoml the first ending i got was insane (the one were we move away with ronnie) then i got the others pretty easy it was so much fun playing the new update!

I hope the Google translate I used was somewhat correct, so thank you for enjoying the new update! I will admit, the endings are a bit rushed (especially the main one) but despite that what’s actually IN the endings was always the plan. So don’t worry, nothing in my creative vision changed while making it!
This was so good! I immediately suggested it to my friend. I think it would be interesting if there were points where we had to choose between the two to get closer with one of them, but that's up to you!
I love this game SOSOSO much!! Ravi and Orion are SUCHH cuties. the start was really similar to Mushroom Oasis which is one of my favorite visual novels, so I was hooked immediately!!! cant wait for more days <3

Haihai!!! Can I just say despite there only being two days, this is SUCH an addicting game? I love everything about it! The characters, the story, the humor,etc. usually when I play games with two charachters that you can romance, I always pick favourites, BUT ITS SO HARDDDDDDDD with this game! Both Orion and Ravi are SUCH cuties I love them. If I may ask, when will day three be out and how many more days will there be? Even despite these GREAT points I really REALLLY hate how underrated this game is. Please take care of yourself!!!<3

WHOA!! This is so good so far! I remember when it was ShadowDrop or something; whenever i realized it changed I instantly knew that I had to play the newer version. It was longer than before I'm quite sure; my memory is hazy since i probably played ShadowDrop a couple of months ago. This is awesome, keep it up!! Also, take your time and take care of yourself :3. Anyways, aside from me already saying this, it's great!! I'll recommend this to some friends sometimes.
